Community

St. John regularly supports the Atwater Help for Seniors as well as the Backpack Drive organized by the ACGC School District. 

Our largest church/community event is the Oktoberfeast celebration.  It is normally held the first Sunday in October at the Atwater Community Center.  We host traditional German foods and have a German band to make the evening a true celebration. 

In September, we have historically hosted a Polka Service.  Please come join us as we polka our way through the liturgy.  You have never sung hymns like this before!
